EPCOT Closes the Beloved Maelstrom Attraction to Install New Frozen themed Ride and Additional Meet & Greet!

January 13, 2015 Update:

Permits Filed for Large New Building to house a Frozen Meet and Greet attraction. Filed today, the building will be located on just over one acre of land between the existing Norway pavilian and Mexico.  The sixe of the show building leads me to believe that there may also be a gift shop or a bit more than just an ordinary meet & greet.  Maybe we’ll see something on the order of the snowy playground that was so popular, and in two locations, in Disney Hollywood Studios.  Click on the photos for larger version.

We are told that the former Maelstrom ride  has been completely removed from its building, ut things have been so secret and we haven’t seen or heard any credible information or even an overview on what the new ride will be like.
